Compliance
The boring paperwork, done properly
Commercial buyers don't really buy blinds — they buy the absence of risk. This page is the checklist: what we comply with, what we document, and what your procurement team can ask us for.
Child safety
BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014
Every blind we install in schools, public buildings and anywhere children may be present complies with the child-safety standard: safe-by-design systems wherever possible (crank, wand and electric operation), and chain breaks or cord tensioning devices fitted where corded systems are specified.
Fire performance
Flame-retardant contract fabrics
Contract-grade flame-retardant fabrics and linings across our commercial ranges, with fabric performance documentation supplied with quotations for your fire safety file.
Anti-ligature
Load-release systems, surveyed against risk assessments
Magnetic load-release blinds, tracks and curtains for mental health, SEN and higher-risk settings — specified room by room with the care team's risk assessment, not off a price list.
Guarantees
3 to 5+ year system guarantees
Standard rollers carry a 5-year guarantee; verticals 3 years; electric systems a minimum of 3; heavy-duty systems and curtain tracks a minimum of 5 — many tracks 10 years or more. Backed by the workshop that made them.
Working on site
Ready for your onboarding process
Fifty years of commercial work means we know what your commercial and H&S teams will ask for — insurance documentation, method and risk information for the site, and installers who respect sign-in, induction and permit processes. Ask, and it arrives before the start date. One thing you won't need to chase: who's actually turning up. Installation is never subcontracted — the people on site are ours.
Need something specific for a tender — insurance certificates, fabric fire data, method information? Ask us directly and we'll send current documents.
Procurement questions?
Send us the supplier questionnaire — filling those in properly is part of the job.
